KTH Chess Club hosts weekly chess nights at the main campus. These meetings usually last around 1-2 hours, during which we mostly play casual games against each other. We also organize tournaments once in a while which are open to all students at KTH!

Our goal is to build a strong community where people can meet others who share the same passion: playing chess.

Come and join us on Mondays at 17:30 in Nymble, we usually play on the 2nd floor either in the bar area or in Nya matsalen.

The skill level of our players varies greatly, with our best players having over 2000 ELO (FIDE) so it will not be “too easy” unless you’re an undercover GM. We also have plenty (majority) of “advanced beginner”/intermediate players and we are happy to welcome new players regardless of skill. See you at the chessboard!
