Kongliga Folquet is a folk music ensemble that plays both traditional and newly composed folk music, primarily from the Nordic countries but also from other parts of the world.

In addition to rehearsals, there are also opportunities to participate in other folk music–related events and trips to festivals and similar gatherings. Our goal is to be a meeting place for music-interested students in Stockholm.

All instruments are welcome. No prior experience in folk music is required, but it is beneficial if you are comfortable with your instrument and willing to learn by ear.
