It is with great sadness that we share the news that our dear colleague and friend, Eric Forsell, has passed away.
For many years, Eric was a deeply appreciated part of The Student Union at KTH, THS, and he leaves behind a lasting legacy within the entire student union. Through his dedication, warmth, and ability to bring people together, he inspired countless students and colleagues.
Eric’s journey within THS began in the Mechanical Engineering Chapter, where he quickly became a well-liked and driving force. His involvement there laid the foundation for the broader work he later carried out within the union – including his roles as Head of Educational Affairs and most recently as Speaker of the Student Union Council. In every position he held, his work was marked by wisdom, kindness, and a deep commitment to improving student life.
We remember Eric as someone who spread joy, listened to others, and always had a smile to share. He made THS a better place – and we will miss him deeply.
A memorial gathering will be held in Eric’s honor. More information about time and location will be shared soon.
Today, a condolence space with a memorial book has been set up in the Music Room in Nymble, for anyone who wishes to light a candle, write a few words, or simply sit in quiet reflection.
